FAL, L1A1, Timing Rod

For timing barrels. This AISI 12L14 carbon steel rod is precision ground and threaded on one side for the FAL and the other side for the L1A1. Use with a horizontal level across the receiver and a vertical level on the rod. A full 1/2″ diameter and 12″ long, this rod is made to my exacting standards. The large diameter makes it seat more evenly on the FAL gas block, and the L1A1 side has a small 5 degree chamfer to match the forward rake of the L1A1 front sight. L1A1 side also doubles as a gauge for sight wing width – if it contacts the wings, the wings are bent inward. Made in USA by John Hallis of North Freedom Engineering.
